Tobacco Card Issues of the late 19th and early 20th Century display some of
the most artistic lithography, whether the subject matter be World's Champions,
American Indians, Heroes of History, or Baseball Scenes. Cards of the American
Tobacco Card Company were catalogued by Jefferson Burdick around 1937. Sir
E.C. Wharton -Tigar also contributed to the World Tobacco Issues Index (WTI),
with Volume I issued in 1956 . |
